The FBM Small Cap Index was up as much as 8.6% in the
second half of May only to narrow its quarterly rise to
1.0% (as at 13 Jun 08). In contrast, the benchmark Kuala
Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) – which also moved up
first and pulled back later – posted a small loss of 1.5%
quarter-to-date.
