各位NN,
本人现在正在考CPA, 对corp fin 和 financial accounting 颇感兴趣。
志向是做一名equity analyst 或者corp fin consultant.
一直以来， 我觉得读懂报表， 参透 accouting standards, 有能力 tell the story behind the financial
data, 是成为金融领域的equity analyst 的 prerequisite.
但是好像 ， 有一些fresh graduate without working experiences or accounting
qualification 可以直接进入投行做equity analyst.
很想问一下， 是不是i-bank 的 equity research 和qualified accountant in accouting firm在分析公司时关注的
方面其实很不相同。
要成为insightful equity analyst, 除了具备会计知识， 还要注重那些其他方面能力的培养呢？
自我感觉， financial reports, 经过公司管理层和auditing firm 的层层
包装， aggregate data 很能反映公司内部的real situation， 其变相地成为 tool of data manipulation.
不知这样理解是否有失偏颇。
